Being a Teamster is about much more than defending workers' rights. It’s also about lending a hand to those in need and supporting stronger communities. The Teamsters Canada Foundation embodies this tradition of solidarity by supporting charitable organizations across the country.
A CANADA-WIDE MISSION OF SOLIDARITY
The Teamsters Canada Foundation takes meaningful action across Canada to support charitable organizations responding to meet real community needs.
As part of its mission, the Foundation is committed to promoting equity nationwide through four key pillars:
- Helping those affected by natural disasters
- Contributing to health and cancer research
- Supporting local and national causes related to poverty, insecurity, and gender-based violence.
- Encouraging initiatives for people with limited mobility, both locally and nationally.
APPLYING FOR A DONATION
Are you a charitable organization looking to apply for a donation?
The Teamsters Canada Foundation provides contributions starting at $1,500 to directly support charitable organizations and the communities they serve.

Application process
To have your request considered, you must complete the donation request form via the link, print it, and return it along with all required documents in digital format to: foundation@teamsters.ca
SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
Local Union Sponsorship
Once the donation request form is submitted, the organization may, if desired, send its request by email to the nearest Teamsters local union.

IMPORTANT NOTE
If you have submitted a request in the past, you must still provide all required documents. Additionally, to qualify for another donation, you must first submit the activity report related to your previous donation.
