This year again, the Comité d’actions féministes de Teamsters Quebec (Feminist Action Committee) fundraising campaign was a success, and with the contribution of the Teamsters Canada Foundation, we were able to present a cheque for $10,000 to Catherine Ménard, director of Parados, a shelter for women victims of domestic violence and their children.
It was with a heart full of hope that François Laporte, President of Teamsters Canada, and Nathaly Guillemette, President of CAFTQ, presented the cheque, which will help the shelter's team to provide essential services to families going through difficult times.
